Children's Mental Health Week
What is mental health?
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence and through adulthood. (Definition from www.mentalhealth.gov)
Children's mental health week
Many of the staff at CVJS are currently undertaking training with a charity called Place2Be. They are a fabulous charity who provide training, resources and support to children, young people and adults. This week, Place2Be are providing a range of online resources to let everyone know about what they do and also what people can do to look after themselves. As we move through lockdown, and towards the reopening of schools, it is vital that we all take time to look after ourselves and each other.
Have a look at the videos below. These will introduce the aims of mental health week to you. More videos and resources will be added over the coming days and weeks.
